Brief
By using one of the well known, but often ignored system typefaces, create a Type Specimen which showcases its unique aspects in a way that is compelling to a visually literate audience.
Outcome
A type specimen celebrating Paul Renner’s typeface, Futura. Exploring its versatile, geometric and minimalistic qualities, in a perfectly bound ‘flip’ book. 20 styles, 52 characters, 14 colours. As you peel back the perforation, each page reveals another part of its history and character anatomy. It is the type of today and tomorrow.
